Mt. Rainier National Park - Mt. Rainier National Park is approximately an hour's drive northwest of Yakima and is most accessible in the summer months. Some areas, however, may be visited year round. There are activities for the whole family including camping, hiking, wildlife viewing.

Central Washington State Fair - The Central Washington State Fair runs for 10 days each year in late September/early October. The fairgrounds are spacious and scenic, making it one of the most enjoyable fairs in the state.

YVVCB - Yakima Valley Visitors and Convetion Burea - The Yakima Valley Visitors and Convention Bureau provides a resource for Yakima Valley businesses to aggressively market their business while taking advantage of the many member benefits the Bureau offers. It is through the support of our members that the Yakima Valley Visitors and Convention Bureau can competitively market the Yakima Valley as a tourist destination.
